Vintage Buttons

I have been scouring the flea market for some great vintage button cards and a few weeks ago I found two.  I hope you enjoy them.  I have included a scan of the original image and then a b&w digital image for you to use as well.

Last of the Digital Flowers

This is the last of the flower images from the 70 year old embroidery booklet Flower Designs by Jane Snead.  It was a little hard to differentiate whether I had posted one before as the designs were repeated in different sizes with very little variation.  Hopefully, there is not too much duplication.

Some Images for Upcoming Graduations

You get a double dose of vintage today.  Both of these images from an October 1912 Popular Mechanics magazine would make great cards for graduates.  You can see more of the images from this magazine over at my other site Clearly Vintage.

Friday Flowers

I can't get enough of these flowers by Jane Snead.

We are lucky to have two beautiful cards made by Edwina Brown using the top image.  Thank you Edwina for taking the challenge.  These cards are truly inspirational.  You can find more of Edwina's lovely artwork on her blog Edwina's Creations.

A Vintage Father's Day Card

Father's Day is fast approaching and I know all of you are looking for some great ideas for men's cards.  If you are like me, you find it easier to make cards for woman.  Sherry Hickey from A Bit of Cheer has shared a great masculine card.  I just love all the different buttons and the pieced collage background on this card. The image is one I posted awhile back of a vintage ad.
Thank you for sharing Sherry.  You can see more of Sherry's exciting work at her blog.

Here is the image.

Be sure to check out all the vintage motorcycle and car images I have posted in the past.  They make great Father's Day cards if your father is into vintage transportation.

Tulips and Roses
