This weeks images are from a book called Your Baby's Care from 1936. It is a book the hospital gave to new parents. It is loaded with information on how to take care of your baby. Pearls like this "Give the infant 1/2 a teaspoon of cod liver oil 2x a day starting at 2-3 weeks". I'm glad my mom did not believe in this one. Yuk! This week we are lucky to have as guest hostess is Fany. Besides making beautiful cards she is an amazing illustrator who shares who illustrations on her blog. She has created for us two lovely cards. You can see more of Fany's work on her blog http://laboiteasurprisedefany.blogspot.com/ . I hope you are inspired by Fany and take the challenge this week and use these images to create something wonderful!
Here are descriptions of the cards by Fany. "I did give the Spring one, kind of retro 1950 vibe. I used copic for coloring, the paper and some of the trinkets where making memories, plus bits and pieces I have in my surprise box.
The blue one is more vintage. I used paper from Fancy pant and October afternoon, coloring with copic. And again trinket from my surprise box, like old jewelry bits and pieces. I used the technique paper piecing, on the stroller."
I just love these images, thank you Cora, and Fany's cards are just beautiful
