Digital Two for Tuesay 45

This week we have two images from The Little Book House Volume 6 A Bigger World first published in 1920.  I got 6 of these volumes last week at the flea market and could not wait to share.  Our guest designer this week is Helen.  This is the 2nd time that Helen is hosting and she has not let us down.  Helen has created two beautiful projects.  I love her coloring technique and the paper she has chosen for accents.  I know her work will be an inspiration to all of you to take the challenge.  Here is a description of her cards in her own words.

"I am so glad that Cora asked me to do another project for her. She has such beautiful images. I really hope I did these justice. I have a blog it is at http://tomorrowstreasure.blogspot.com I also have a challenge blog you can get to from that site.
I thought the Queen was perfect for a mom's day card, or to a friend, or your daughter. For A birthday or... She is so beautiful and I wanted her to come to life. I thought the black with colors would work. The two on the horse was really fun to do also. I was thinking like the white horse nursery rhyme- "to see a fine lady upon a h white horse" it is a really nice image to work with. Thanks Cora for such great images and for being able to show them.
To do these projects I used mark-its and color pencils with OMS. DP is DCWV, CS is The Angel Company.
Thanks! This is my blog http://tomorrowstreasure.blogspot.com/ "

Digital Two For Tuesday 44

This week's images are from and old magazine from the early 1900's.  I originally copies them and made them into stamps to use for my acrlic stamp line Clearly Vintage but decided not to include them.  I just love the details in these girls.  Our innovative guest designer Jodi Clausen has created for us two wonderful cards using the images.  I love her choice of papers and the flower accents.  These details really highlight these delicate images.  You can see more of Jodi's designs at her blog Reflectionz in Paper & Ink

I hope you take the challenge this week and create something.  Please remember to share your project in the comments section of this post so we can all enjoy what you create.

Digital Two for Tuesday 43

This week we have a treat.  Lorraine is our guest hostess again this week.  She is from the UK and has been papercrafting for over 5 years. I just love her creativity and the way she uses printed papers in her designs. I know I say every week that our guest hostesses amaze me with what they make out of the images but it is true.  My favorite thing is to see the designs before everyone else.  You can see more or Lorraine's work on her blog Coldwaters2
