Still Experimenting

I am still looking for that perfect program to make stamps out of colored images. This is from an old valentine's card. I used Photosketcher and Pixelmator to make this digital stamp. Please let me know what you think about this little kilt boy.

This is a Mother's Day card I made for my scottish mother-in-law.  She is going to love this card.

  2. I think it looks good for the details. I too have tried several programs to create some sketches for colored photos. I used Fotosketcher for several and found that some photos just come out better for various reasons. I used Photoshop to enhance some but they still were just not great. When there is little variations or a lot of variations in the colors there is trouble. I have some vintage black and white that were awful and then the occasional great one. I have not figured out what the parameters are for good ones. I tried several that were too monochromatic and they were awful. I will keep trying. I have added contrast to some in Photoshop after I converted them, that has helped a bit. I want to use the black and white prints to use as a transfer with the Citrasolv technique. I have family member who would love pillows with their loved ones in such a beautiful pen and ink drawing.
