Spectacular Images from LHJ

Ladies Home Journal May 1900 you are spectacular.  These images cleaned up so nicely.  They are so detailed.  I can't wait to work on my project.  I am thinking another mobile like the one I made a few years ago.

Riding

I can't wait to see what you are all creating with all of these beautiful images from Ladies Home Journal May 1900.

This is a simple card I made using one of the images.  I had a bunch of thank you notes I wanted to send out.   The image was colored with Copics and a Pigma Micron pen.  The background card is embossed with a Anna Griffin embossing folder and gently sanded.  I added some tissue tape by Tim Holtz to the edge and colored it with some paint.

Sweet Ladies

I hope you are enjoying these images from Ladies Home Journal May 1900. Hopefully you are gathering them all for an exciting project or journal page.

A quick card I made this afternoon. I love Fridays. We get off of work at 3pm. I colored this image with Copic markers. The face I painted with Acrylic paint and colored the lips with Copics. The lace is vintage.

Two Gorgeous Cards By Two Designers

This week I had an awesome surprise from two of my past guest designers.  Below are two beautiful cards they made using images from Digital Two for Tuesday.

The first one is a card designed by Leslie Miller using one of the flower images I posted a last week.  She is so talented I almost did not recognize the image.   I love the colors and how she stitched around the edges of the card.  You can see a more detailed description of Leslie's card on her blog Running With Scissors.

The second card is by the creative Sherry Hickey.  The image Sherry used was one I posted awhile ago from an old Juggler magazine.  Again, I did a double take and thought this card is so amazing.  This can't be one the images I posted.  I love how she colored the car and paper pieced the frame.  You can read all about how Sherry made this card on her blog Bits of Cheer.

Woman in Hats

These illustrations are from a May 1900 Ladies Home Journal.  I have cleaned them up and made them black and white to use as digital stamps.  Their hats are marvelous.

Digital Two for Tuesday 175

I thought I would take a break from posting flower images and post some beautiful drawings of woman from a May 1900 Ladies Home Journal.  There are several dozen of these drawings in this magazine, so I will be posting them over the next few days.
