Taking Care of the House

These two images are from the same booklet as the previous post called Neighborly Advice from the early 20's.  Unfortunately between the ageing of the booklet and the image size they are not as clear as I would like.  Eventually I will have to investigate a better photo imaging program that would emphasize/darken the lines that are lightened without having to add back in each pixel individually.  The program I am working with is 10 years old but it is so easy to use.

Come Visit A New Blog

Exciting news! My 10 year old daughter has started a new blog called Learning From Our Past. It is a child's view of history. She has loved history since she was a little girl and now wants to share what she has learned with other children. At the flea market she collects old photos and ephemera of our U.S. Presidents and other famous people. There are bound to be some great vintage images for all you collectors like the one of Abraham Lincoln below. Please stop by her blog alone or with a child and make a young girl happy.

Two small images

Both of these images are from the same booklet from 1915 as the previous images.

Digital Two for Tuesday 98

Here are the last two from the pattern page I posted before.  The second one has a little bit of an a strange edit.  I had to cut the child out in order to get most of the dress.  You may only want to use the top of the image.

Dreaming

The two images today came from an August 1915 magazine called Something to do.  I love the girl reading.  She has that far away look.
I just put more of my photopolymer stamps in my Etsy shop so be sure to follow the link in the sidebar to see some of my favorite images as photopolymer stamps.  They are priced to sell.
